Another Main Event Set For WWE RAW Tonight?, SD! Breaks Another SyFy Record

– The January 21st episode of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown scored a 2.12 rating with 3,295,000 viewers. This is the best SmackDown rating since the show moved to SyFy. The show was also the most watched on a Friday night for SyFy since the Stargate Atlantis premiere back in 2004.

– Former World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk stopped by a local CBS radio affiliate in Detroit today and noted that he would be facing John Cena in a rematch from last week’s show on tonight’s RAW.

– Miguel sent word that former WWE SmackDown star Eric Escobar is now working for the IWA promotion in Puerto Rico. He is the current IWA Undisputed World Unified Heavyweight Champion, after winning the title earlier this month.

– Main events at recent RAW live events have seen WWE Champion The Miz defeat Randy Orton. Orton then gets his win back by defeating Alex Riley in a quick match ordered by the RAW General Manager.
