Big Update On TNA Wrestling Taking ‘iMPACT!’ On The Road

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, when TNA Wrestling airs iMPACT! from Fayetteville, North Carolina at the end of February, it will not be a live episode. PWInsider.com first reported that the show would be broadcasted live from the Crown Arena. However, the Observer is reporting that this is not true, and the company would instead be taping two episodes of iMPACT! from the arena (March 3rd and March 10th, the Victory Road lead-in show).

Eric Bischoff posted a message on his Facebook/Twitter accounts a few days back, reproducing PWInsider’s report that the show would be live, scoffing that it wasn’t true. The plan right now is to tape the February 17 and February 24 episodes of iMPACT! from Orlando’s iMPACT! zone on February 14 and 15, and then tape the shows from Fayetteville sometime during the last week of February and/or very early March.

My opinion: Well this is certainly disappointing. While I applaud the company for trying out taping shows outside of the stale iMPACT! zone, they should have at the very least aired the first episode from Fayetteville live and then taped the episode for the next week the day after.
