Booker T & Kevin Nash Return At WWE’s Royal Rumble PPV, Details Here

  • Share

At last night’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view Booker T entered as #21 in the 40-man Royal Rumble match as a surprise entrant. The way he was eliminated by Mason Ryan made it seem like he doesn’t have a contract but worked on a per shot deal. We’ll post more information when we get it. Additionally, Kevin Nash entered tonight’s 40-man Royal Rumble as Diesel at #32. He was quickly eliminated by Wade Barrett which makes me think, like Booker T, he doesn’t have a contract as of this writing.

It should be interesting to see if both or either of them decide to sign with TNA Wrestling as part of their ongoing “they” storyline that is set to be revealed at this Thursday’s TNA Wrestling iMPACT! broadcast. The company has been promoting the debut of “they” for three weeks now, and there have been rumors that it is the return of the Main Event Mafia faction. Both Booker T and Nash were both pivotal parts of the original Main Event Mafia faction. WrestleHeat.com will continue to follow this developing story in the coming days, especially after tomorrow’s iMPACT! taping. One way to continue following news on their futures in the company is by “liking” our Facebook page by clicking the link below:

  1. GameOver says:

Disagree, they are in it for the short term, atleast til WrestleMania.

Didn’t really expect guys who have only just joined the company after working for TNA for years would get straight into the limelight and go over the talent they are trying to push do you? Thats what TNA does not WWE :)

and why would WWE get them in for a one night deal knowing full well they would be going back to TNA? Thats just retarded

Nash and Booker will be around til the HOF and WrestleMania guarenteed, beyond that well ok they can go on there merry way.
