TNA Wrestling star Jeff Hardy was scheduled to appear in a North Carolina court on Wednesday morning for the latest hearing related to his pending drug charges, but the case was delayed once again and a continuance was issued.
According to FayObserver.com, the case was delayed because prosecutors are still awaiting the results of lab tests from the State Bureau of Investigation on some of the evidence that was seized from Hardy’s home on the day of his arrest back in September 2009.
Hardy’s lawyer has stated publicly that Hardy will plead guilty to some of the charges and prosecutors are still working on the terms of a plea deal. A TNA spokesman had no comment on how the company is dealing with Jeff Hardy in the midst of these charges, but did say that TNA has a drug policy. No further details were given.
