Breaking News: Wrestling Legend “Macho Man” Randy Savage Dies

According to a report by celebrity website, longtime wrestling legend “Macho Man” Randy Savage died in a car accident today (May 20, 2011) in Tampa Florida. Savage was 58-years-old. TMZ learned about the news when a source close to the website spoke to Savage’s brother, Lanny Poffo, who stated that Savage suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel of the car and subsequently lost control of his car.

The heart attack allegedly occurred at 10AM on while he was driving on the highway at 10AM local time. A Florida Highway Patrol officer said that Savage was driving a 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he “veered across a concrete median … through oncoming traffic … and “collided head-on with a tree.” His wife Lynn was also in the car when the accident occurred, but suffered only “minor injuries”. Both were wearing seat belts.
