As noted before, this past Thursday’s edition of iMPACT! Wrestling on Spike TV scored a cable rating of 1.27 with an overall audience of 1.81 million viewers. Since then, more ratings data has come in, which is rather favorable for the company. Throughout the history of iMPACT!, ratings have started strong when it goes on the air and then the quarter hours quickly drop as the program progresses. This was not the case during this past week’s episode, as indicated by the quarter hours.

The show started with a 1.06 rating for the Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarett, and Kurt Angle in-ring promo, a jump of 17% in the next quarter hour to a 1.28 for the Mickie James and Miss Tessmacher vs Madison Rayne and Tara match, the backstage segment involving AJ Styles and Tommy Dreamer, and the Sting backstage segment. The third quarter hour jumped to a 1.31 for hype involving Beer Money vs Matt Hardy and his mystery partner at Sacrifice as well as the exchange between James Storm, Robert Roode, Matt Hardy, and the reveal of Hardy’s partner, “Wild Cat” Chris Harris. The rating then dropped in quarter four to a 1.17, featuring Sangriento vs Suicide as well as Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff coming to the ring for the reveal of the “Network Executive”.

The rating then went up to a 1.29 during the fifth quarter hour where the Network Executive and Chyna were revealed, but that was actually the fourth highest rated quarter hour of the night overall despite two highly anticipated reveals being dropped during that quarter hour. The rating then fell slightly to a 1.26 in the sixth quarter hour featuring Crimson vs Samoa Joe vs Abyss, Rob Van Dam’s thoughts on Sacrifice, and the introduction of the participants in main event battle royal. The battle royal rook place during all of quarter seven (1.37) and quarter eight (night-high 1.41 rating).
