Just days after Gail Kim made a splash on Twitter saying that she wasn’t looking to get fired by WWE, she posted a message today saying that she has “quit” the company.”Hey I just wanted every1 to know that I officially quit WWE on Monday. So thank u WWE fans! This won’t be the last u see of me. Love u guys,” the former WWE Women’s Champion wrote.
As of press time, she is apart of the WWE.com roster page, but if true, will likely be removed soon. Kim got into controversy this past Monday on RAW during the Diva’s battle royal when she slid herself out of the ring, effectively eliminating herself. She said that the move was done in order to see if anyone was watching her.
Kim admitted that the move was both “sad” and “amusing” because nobody backstage seemed to notice the incident, which was all captured on the air live Monday night.
