During last night’s telecast of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling on Spike TV, Ken Anderson won an extensive 25-man battle royal to become the number one contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. During a backstage segment that closed the show, it was announced that Anderson will be challenging the winner of Rob Van Dam vs Sting at the Slammiversary pay-per-view.
TNA Wrestling will be on the road all weekend and leading up to this Sunday’s Sacrifice pay-per-view and the tapings of iMPACT! Wrestling from Orlando, Florida on Monday and Tuesday. Tonight, May 13, 2011, they will be having a live event from Monroe, Louisiana. Tomorrow, a live event from Jackson, Mississippi is scheduled. They will then tape Slammiversary live on PPV this Sunday from Orlando, Florida followed by iMPACT! Wrestling tapings the next couple of days.
