Kurt Angle Lies During Sting-PPV Hype, Destination X PPV Buyrate, More TNA News

Here are some recent TNA attendance figures: the July 21st show in Salem, VA drew 400 fans, the July 22nd showin Winston Salem, NC drew 850 fans, and the July 23rd show in Harrington, DE drew 500 fans.

Kurt Angle said again at this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling tapings that he has never beaten Sting, going into their World Title match at Hardcore Justice. Angle has actually beat Sting twice. Once on October 16th, 2007 for the World Title and again on May 27th, 2009 on Impact in a King of the Mountain qualifying match.

A rough estimate on pay-per-view buys for TNA’s Destination X last month would be between 8,000 and 8,500, which is a slight decrease from the prior month’s Slammiversary pay-per-view.

Poor Kurt.  Lying for no apparent reason other than to make himself and the company he works for look even more pathetic than they already did.  Maybe he meant that he’s never defeated “joker” Sting.  I’m anxious to hear how TNA handles this blunder – I’m guessing they will ignore it like they do with the rest of their problems..
