Linda McMahon To Possibly Run For U.S. Senate Again In 2012

Former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon will once again be possibly throwing her hat into the political scene by running for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut in 201, according to Greenwichtime.com. The race would take place to replace Joe Lieberman, the incumbent Independent who is retiring this year instead of running for re-election for a fifth term.

Republican McMahon also ran in 2010 and lost to incumbent Richard Blumenthal by 55%-43%. If she runs again next year, she would have to face declared candidates Brian Hill, an attorney, and Chris Shays, a former U.S. representative, in the primary, though more will certainly come out as 2012 gets closer.
