Jim Ross noted on Twitter today that contrary to reports, the license of Amy “Lita” Dumas — who made an appearance on last night’s Slammy Awards — was not suspended. “Her recent traffic arrest was speeding,” the Hall of Famer tweeted. “License wasn’t suspended. Computer glitch.”
However, AugustaCrime.com still is listing the former WWE Women’s Champion as awaiting her trial on charges of speeding in excess of maximum limits while driving with a suspended license. As noted previously, she was released on a $2,200 bond over the weekend.
He also noted that Dumas will not be returning to WWE on a full-time basis but noted that she is open to the possibility of returning ocassionally.
