According to a source I spoke to earlier today, Kevin Nash will indeed be in attendance at tonight’s RAW from San Diego, California. Jim Adler posted earlier today that former WWE star BG James noted on Twitter that he was with Nash on Friday when Nash “got the call” from WWE to appear at last night’s PPV, but I am told exclusively that the plan has been in full motion for months now.
In addition, I am told that even though WWE continues to set up the Anonymous RAW General Manager podium at the last few editions of RAW as well as last night’s SummerSlam, they are looking to finally end the storyline and likely reveal Nash as the General Manager, which has been played out now for 14 months. Another possible scenario, possibly in addition to being revealed as the General Manager — and based on his actions last night — is talk of having Nash be a manager of sorts to Del Rio. That has been rumored for weeks now.
Another possible scenario that has been tossed around is that even though Triple H “acted” surprised last night during the PPV, Nash was brought back by Triple H himself in storyline terms to do his “dirty work and get the blood of his hands,” my source noted. As we reported earlier, there are tentative plans for Triple H to face off against CM Punk at WrestleMania 28 and with WWE looking to book in the long-term, it is quite possible that this is the beginning of a Triple H and CM Punk feud.
