Seven Matches Set For Night Of Champions (Spoiler), Linda McMahon To Announce 2012 Run

According to CTPost.com, Linda McMahon is scheduled to announce that she is throwing her hat into ring for the U.S. Senate race in Connecticut in 2012 next Tuesday. If she gets in, she would be vying for the empty seat that Independent Joe Lieberman will be vacating when he retires. Reports suggest that she is going to announce a jobs-oriented speech at a manufacturing plant next week.

Coming out of last night’s SmackDown! taping, there will be six title matches on the card along with CM Punk vs Triple H in a No Disqualification match. Below is the updated card:

WWE Title Match
John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio

World Heavyweight Title Match
Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton

WWE Tag Team Title Match
The Miz & R-Truth vs. Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne

WWE Divas Title Match
Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly

WWE United States Title Match
Jack Swagger vs. Alex Riley vs. John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler

WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes

No DQ Match
CM Punk vs. Triple H
If Punk wins, Triple H must resign as COO.

    ugh this shows how there are too many titles in WWE.  They need to unify the WWE and World Heavyweight titles, and eliminate the US title.
