Former WWE and TNA Wrestling star Matt Hardy was reportedly kicked out of rehab on Friday after failing a breathalyzer test, according to celebrity website TMZ. The website reports that staff at the rehab facility, being paid for by his former employer WWE, became suspicious of his behavior and ordered the breathalyzer test on Hardy.
Hardy reportedly failed the test, but the TMZ report stated that he was “adamant that he wasn’t drinking” and simply blamed it on the mouthwash that he had just used. The staff, not believing his story, ordered him out of the facility just one month short of completing the three-month rehab stint.
Hardy was sent to rehab back in September by a North Carolina judge due to multiple arrests earlier in the year. The judge stated that if he didn’t accept the rehab offer, he could have faced jail time.
