The Wrestling Globe Newsletter is reporting that former WWE and TNA Wrestling star Matt Hardy was released from the Moore County detention center in North Carolina after his bail was posted. Hardy was sent to the detention center after he failed a a breathalyzer test while in WWE-sponsored rehab earlier this month. He was then arrested and sent to the jail. His bail was originally set at $1 million, but the Globe notes that it was likely reduced.
Hardy will be having a hearing this Wednesday related to his driving while intoxicated charges that he received in September 2011. At the time, police found anabolic steroids, a dose of ecstasy, and drug paraphernalia after a search of his home when his girlfriend, Reby Sky, called police saying that he “needed help”.
