TNA Wrestling may have had involvement with Jersey Shore stars Angelina Pivarnick and J-WOWW in the past, but a new report suggests that the company is now trying to woo Ronnie Ortiz-Magro to make appearances on their Spike TV broadcast of Impact Wrestling. PWInsider.com notes that while the company is close to signing him, a contract has yet to be signed.
TNA’s competitor, WWE, had appearances by Snooki earlier this year. She even competed in a match-up at WrestleMania 27.
According to sources, TNA management are impressed with the ratings for Jersey Shore and are hoping that some of those ratings can translate it over to its own broadcast. The company was also happy with the publicity it received previously with the former Jersey Shore reality stars and are looking to reproduce that feat once again.
