R-Truth Suspended From WWE Allegedly For Smoking Synthetic Marijuana

Just one day after R-Truth and The Miz broke up as a tag team, which might now shed new light on why WWE booked the split up, WWE.com has announced that R-Truth has been suspended from the WWE due to a violation of the company’s Wellness Policy.

“In accordance with the Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Ron Killings (R-Truth) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s policy,” the standard WWE.com write-up said on the website.

This latest development comes just two days after we released an article here on WrestleHeat.com reporting that while Evan Bourne was suspended nearly a month ago, a participant in the Survivor Series main event allegedly was smoking synthetic marijuana at a party with Bourne but was never suspended. At this point, it is unknown if Truth was going to get away with it until our report broke or if WWE was holding on suspending him until after his feud with The Rock and John Cena.
