Shawn Michaels Comments On Who Is Inducting Him Into WWE HOF

Shawn Michaels was recently interviewed by Brian Fritz of BetweenTheRopes.com. When asked if Triple H will be inducting him into the Hall of Fame this year, he said: “I don’t know that we’ve decided all that. I get the final decision on that and it’s hard to narrow it down to one, and that’s what I’ve been telling him. I’ve got it down to two. And I’m running out of time.”

Shawn also revealed that plans were in place if he wanted to keep wrestling after the WrestleMania match against The Undertaker. He said:

“We had a couple, little back-up plans if (I) wanted to come back maybe and do a little retirement tour and do it this way. I can remember after that match, me, Taker, and Michael Hayes were sitting in a room by ourselves taking it all in. Just very quiet. And Michael Hayes spoke up and said, ‘Ya know, if that’s the last one, I understand.’ And I looked over at him and said, ‘That’s it.’ What I’m saying is they left it open and it was one of those things I was allowed to call on the fly. If I wanted to do something – maybe a little retirement tour and at least say good-bye to everybody, we could find a way to get that done, too. But, after that one, I just knew that was it. It really gets real then.”
