TNA is in Orlando, Florida tonight and tomorrow taping episodes of Impact Wrestling set to air this Thursday (May 19) and next Thursday on Spike TV. As revealed last night at the Sacrifice pay-per-view, Sting will defend the TNA World Championship against Ken Anderson at one of TNA’s major pay-per-views next month, Slammiversary. In addition, it was revealed at the TNA tapings tonight that Kurt Angle will once again face Jeff Jarrett next month to determine the number one contender for the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary, too.
To play on the re-branding efforts that TNA revealed last week on Impact Wrestling in conjunction with the press release that Spike TV and TNA released today, they revealed a blue-themed set tonight at the tapings from Orlando. The set remains primarily the same as before with a blue theme in place of the red theme — including blue ropes, ring posts that say “Impact Wrestling,” and “Impact Wrestling” ring aprons.
