After weeks of facing the NBA Finals on ABC, the TNA Impact Wrestling ratings last night on Spike TV finally rebounded by 16% among total viewers — from 1.48 million last week to 1.77 million this week. And among households, the rating increased by over 19% — from a 1.01 rating last week to 1.25 this week. This was the highest rating since the May 12th broadcast six weeks ago.
One of the driving forces for the increase in the rating last night was the heavy increase in males 18-34, the same audience that likely attracted the NBA Finals games the prior two weeks. The M18-34 demo was up 40% from last week, and was actually the highest rating that the show has brought in all year long.
