TNA Impact Wrestling star Desmond Wolfe, who hasn’t been seen on Impact Wrestling in months and has since been announced as the commissioner of the international series Xplosion, recently did an interview with Kent News, where Wolfe talked about his health issues as well as why he hasn’t been wrestling for months. “I can’t get into the details of my absence here and now,” Wolfe said. “But there have been a few different plans to bring me back in the last few months, none of which materialized. But I’m hoping for something soon, though.”
As for the “health issues” that are barring him from returning to the ring, there has been backstage talk within the company that Wolfe has hepatitis. As we noted earlier this year, both Wolfe and TNA President Dixie Carter talked about a possible return to the company where Carter felt optimistic about him returning to the ring while Wolfe did not. Carter told Wolfe during the meeting that she feels he will be able to overcome his “situation” and return to the ring.
