TNA Wrestling Advertising CM Punk On Their Website

Even TNA Wrestling is getting their dose of CM Punk. Punk, who has become an Internet darling over the past few weeks, is currently advertised on TNA’s website with the headline, “Exclusive: CM Punk is coming to”. In the article, they note that they will be broadcasting a few of his 2003-2004 matches beginning next week, which you can view on the aforementioned website.

For those of you that don’t know, Punk was part of the company during the Asylum years as part of Raven’s faction along with Julio Dinero and Mickie James, who left for WWE shortly and then recently returned to TNA,

      yup – Alexis Laree…that was also the name she used when she was doing porn before her wrestling career.

    As much as I despise TNA, I have to give them props for this.  WWE owns just about every past pro wrestling promotion’s archive of material, and keeps releasing it over and over on various DVD sets – TNA is simply following suit by capitalizing on the current CM Punk craze and offering up what they have.

    I really wish TNA could step up their program and storylines for crying out loud. Jerrett Promotions once was the show of shows…ahhhback in the 80’s!! They done well for theirselves using such footage to turn some heads their way… for a briefly brief moment.. sure miss wrestling like it used 2 be….
