TNA Wrestling recently lost a big supporter of their programming on Spike TV. After working as the Senior Vice President of Sports and Special Programming, there is said to be tension that Brian Diamond was fired by the network, especially considering that he was a fan of the promotion.

Spike TV is looking to hire Jon Slusser in Diamond’s place, with the Sports Business Journal Daily reporting that Slusser will be focusing on “non-traditional events” such as MMA, motorsports, lifestyle sports, and event sports. No mention of TNA Wrestling was made, although many backstage believe that the company has a future on the network considering that they’ll soon be losing rights to the UFC.
