On Twitter this afternoon, former WWE, ECW, and TNA Wrestling star Tommy Dreamer announced that he will be working his final shows with the company this weekend. “If u need a reason 2 go 2 TNA shows on 6/10 Marion, Ill & 6/11 Memphis TN. They will b my last 2 apperances for TNA.Come say goodbye. Thnx,” the star said. Many at the Impact Wrestling tapings were wondering why Dreamer didn’t appear at the TV tapings this past week considering the company recently turned him heel.
However, Dreamer leaving the company — his contract recently came to an end — likely came as a result of the company looking to cut down on talent, as we reported a few days back here on WrestleHeat.com. Dreamer make his TNA return last year duing the EV2 build-up to the Hardcore Justice pay-per-view event. Dreamer is now looking to be booked for independent shows, and you can book him by visiting his website thetommydreamer.com.
