In an update on the reigning Miss USA Rima Fakih and where she stands after being eliminated from Tough Enough, she shot down the thought of returning to WWE during a recent interview with Buzz Focus. “Actually, I’m very busy right now,” she said. “On June 19th I’ll be crowning the new Miss USA at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas. It’ll be live on NBC — please consider that a plug. (Laughs.) I also hope to purse a career in acting. I have a lot of offers on the table.”
As noted previously, both WWE and the USA Network were hoping that she was going to go further in the Tough Enough competition because of her mainstream appeal. The feeling was that considering her celebrity, it would give the network and the show enough publicity heading into a possible second season later this year on USA. However, considering her lack of basic skills, that was quickly changed. For those who watch Tough Enough, Luke is considered the favorite after Rima left and apparently made it very far in the reality series.
