Update On Sting-WWE Rumors, Spoiler Involving The Undertaker’s ‘Mania Role

  • Share

In an update on our report earlier this week here on WrestleHeat.com regarding the Sting and the WWE signing rumors, which aren’t true, there have been interest from both sides regarding Sting making an appearance on WWE programming, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, but WWE has not reached out to him as of yet. As reported earlier, the feeling is that he will go ahead and re-sign with TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter and her company.

As for the Undertaker’s role now that Sting has been likely ruled out, the original back-up plan involving The Undertaker vs. Wade Barrett has been dropped by WWE creative. The company has come up with a new direction for the Undertaker which they hope will steal the show – it is also slated to involve Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels in a non-wrestling capacity. The new direction doesn’t involve Brock Lesnar at this point.

I’ll bet you any money you like it’ll be Cena v Taker at wm… the card at the moment looks so thin (del rio v edge, the miz v whoever) taker v cena is the only match that could get the buys.

Taking on HBK 2 (in non wrestling capacity) unify DX gen 4 the last moment n wave gdbye 2 all the 3 Superstars?

It’s all a smokescreen if you ask me. I think Sting has signed or is close to signing with WWE. I find it strange that as of Tuesday morning, Sting was removed from TNA’s website (as part of the roster). Things just aren’t adding up here. I guess we’ll find out soon enough…

All these websites saying Sting is re signing with TNA is pure guesswork. They have no clue of Sting’s current status with neither TNA or WWE. Dixie Carter has her head in the clouds if she thinks Sting is going to go back to that car wreck.
