In an update from our report in late October that WWE will be airing a live daily talk show for the WWE Network upon its launch, the company is looking to have Scott Stanford host the show. However, the company is unsure if they will be giving him a co-host, according to ProWrestling.net.
The talk show would air for a few hours each weekday with it likely being a complete kayfabe broadcast. There is talk of the the show also being simulcasted on the radio along with the WWE Network. The reaction backstage is that it will be a television version of the former WWE.com series, “Byte This!”
WWE released the following tidbit on the series in October: “In 2012, WWE Network’s new daily live studio show will connect you to the Superstars like never before. Tune in to score breaking news, exclusive match analyses, topics of the day, interviews, highlights, and commentaries, then go online and on-air to voice your opinion live with our show hosts and daily guest stars, including WWE Superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton, Kelly Kelly, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, the Miz and more!”
Possible names for the series include Power Center, Action Center, Event Center, Live Event Center, and InterAction Center. It should be noted that WWE asked fans to pick a name for the series and the results of polling show that Action Center won by a slight margin.
