WWE Adds Another Match To The Elimination Chamber – Updated Card

  • Share

WWE.com announced today that Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston will face Alberto Del Rio this Sunday at Elimination Chamber. The bout is a non-title re-match from last Friday’s episode of SmackDown, which saw Del Rio defeat Kingston via submission.

Thus far on the card for this Sunday’s last pay-per-view before WrestleMania, the Miz will defend the WWE Championship against Jerry “The King” Lawler; the RAW Elimination Chamber #1 contender match will feature John Cena, John Morrison, R-Truth, Randy Orton, Sheamus and CM Punk; the SmackDown! World Championship Elimination Chamber will feature World Champion Edge, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio and Wade Barrett; and the aforementioned Del Rio vs Kingston match.

WrestleHeat.com will be providing free, live coverage of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view this Sunday night starting at 8PM EST. At that point, we will follow the show up with a special edition of WrestleHeat Radio, talking about the Elimination Chamber PPV results, match star ratings and where things go from there heading into WrestleMania.

So the match we just had at Smackdown! last week will be done over? What could possibly happen different this time? Del Rio loses? Although it wouldn’t surprise me, that’s how you book a future champion that’s on his way to his first WrestleMania to likely win the World Heavyweight Championship right? WWE is acting like TNA and it’s pissing me off!
