WWE cleaned house this morning, announcing that four talents were fired from the company. They posted four separate “future endeavors” messages on WWE.com before they took to Facebook and Twitter and announced that all four had been fired.
Those fired from the company include Melina, who has been part of the company since April of 2005, Vladimir Kozlov, who was signed in January of 2006 as Prudius and officially made his RAW debut in December of 2006, and Chris Masters, who has been signed and fired by the WWE twice — his original stint lasted from 2005-2007 and then the latter from July 2009 – today. Finally, David Hart Smith was released, the least tenured of the other three, who made his debut as the “DH Smith” character in October of 2007.
And, as noted previously, Gail Kim took to Twitter today to announce that she, too, will be leaving WWE. Whether or not she was fired or not remains to be seen, but she is noting that she is the one that is “quitting” the company.
