WWE Star Returning To RAW Tonight?, PPV Name Change Confirmed, RAW Preview

  • Share

As of this posting, nothing has been confirmed as of this afternoon for tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw live from Bridgeport, CT. John Cena and Randy Orton vs. WWE Champion The Miz and CM Punk is being advertised locally as a dark match.

WWE has officially confirmed the name change for their June 19th PPV that will be titled “Capitol Punishment.” This confirms earlier advertising regarding the event in Washington, D.C. that will replace the Fatal Four Way name.

WWE star Goldust stated on his official Twitter account that he was heading to Bridgeport, CT – the site of tonight’s Monday Night Raw taping. No word yet if he will be making his return at the taping tonight or will be just hanging out backstage.

Wait. Why would that be a dark match!?!?

For two reasons: So that the fans in attendance have a decent main event to watch to end the show after RAW and so that a big match like that isn’t broadcasted for free on TV.
