Looking at this week’s pro wrestling programs and seeing how much wrestling was on each show, last night’s SmackDown broadcast lead the shows with 30 minutes of action (roughly ~33% of wrestling on the program) followed by Impact Wrestling clocking in a 22 minutes (~24%), Superstars at 22 minutes (~50%), NXT at 20 minutes (~45%), and RAW with just 19 minutes (~20%).
According to site contributor Gregory Davis, there is local advertising in the Rockford, Illinois area that at a live RAW house show on July 30th, the event will be headlined by John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship just two weeks before SummerSlam in Los Angeles. WWE typically has future pay-per-view events headline house shows in the weeks leading up to PPVs so that they can “feel the match out”. Also of note from the promo, CM Punk is not being advertised for the show despite being from Illinois. If rumors are correct that Punk is considering leaving WWE, it looks like it’ll be before July 30th.
