WWE Upset With Shaquille O’Neal For Revealing WrestleMania Plans

WWE is reportedly very upset with Shaquille O’Neal that he spoiled possible plans for a match with the Big Show during a radio interview, according to F4WOnline.com. As noted earlier this year, WWE was looking to work with an NBA star at this year’s WrestleMania 28 and were leaning towards LeBron James but couldn’t work out a deal with him because of his schedule.

Big Show and O’Neal had a confrontation back in July of 2009 when the retired NBA star worked as the RAW guest host and, later in that night, as a special ringside enforcer during a match involving Big Show. After the match, each man grabbed the other by the throat, which lead to O’Neal shoulder blocking Big Show out of the ring.

Speaking of The Big Show, it’s expected that he’ll likely be turning heel soon to coincide with a build-up with O’Neal heading into WrestleMania. There has also been talk of turning World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, too.
