WWE/K-Mart Teaming Up For Royal Rumble, WWE Wins 6 Mashable Awards

WWE and their partner for all of 2011, K-Mart, will be once again teaming up to promote the 2012 Royal Rumble pay-per-view next month. Similarly to last year’s sponsorship, those that spend at least $30 in merchandise from Jan. 8 – Jan. 29 at the store will receive a $10 coupon off a future WWE purchase at the retail store.

WWE issued a press release on Thursday, announcing that they won six awards during the 2011 Mashable Awards. Awards they won include the “Digital Company of the Year,” “Most Follow Brand on Social Media,” “Must Fellow Actor on Social Media” for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, “Must Follow Athlete on Social Media” for John Cena, “Game of the Year” for WWE ’12, and Best Social Good Cause Campaign for the Be A Star anti-bullying campaign.
